Collection: A Monsoon Memory
Back in 2021, right after a fresh rain shower, I was walking past a granite store when I noticed some pipal leaves stuck onto the earth. They looked so fragile, almost like they'd become one with the ground — thin, delicate, and beautiful in their own quiet way.
That image stayed with me, I picked some up because I knew I had to find a way to keep it alive.
That’s how this collection started — as a memory I wanted to preserve onto my canvas of choice: brass. The metal holds the fine textures and delicate lines of the leaves just the way I managed to preserve them. Each piece keeps the natural details intact — from the veins to the edges — almost like the leaf has been frozen in time.
While designing, I noticed that some silhouettes began to look like flowers — a soft illusion that I decided to keep. The result is a mix of leaf and bloom, of nature taking its own course, and us simply following along.
"A Monsoon Memory" is a quiet, gentle collection. It’s for anyone who finds beauty in small moments, in softness, and in things that often go unnoticed.
